Exhaust manifold replacement

I have a 95 wrangler 2.5L 4cyl that I have owned for 6 years. I love it and I need to a lot of work on it. I would like some info on how to replace an exhaust manifold. I think the labor costs at my local shop are way too expensive and I want to replace this myself. I am a novice at best. I have done alternators, starters, simple wiring, etc. My shop tells me a bolt appears to have snapped off on the manifold. How tough is this to change and if I need to drill it out am I going to be able to do this myself. I am a teacher, so summer is the time I can afford to have this vehicle sitting around. Also, what is the best manifold to replace it with? There is some after market stuff that can run close to $400. Are these worth it, or am I best to stick with stock? Any thoughts or experience you have had with this will help. Thanks
