So I've never jacked it up past the point where the jeep started leaning. So does it eventually straighten out? Or do you just jack it super high on the driver's side so you can get the height you need on the passenger's side?

brian d With my Jeep, I have always jacked it up by the pumpkin and put the jack stands under the coil spring mounts. I have never used the differential on any other vehicle I have owned, but considering you can drag and hit the differential on rocks, I figured a carefully placed jack there cant hurt much.

supercazzola Okay, so I know where to jack the front of my JK vehicle, on the axel just under the springs. But if I jack it there, how do I put a jack stand where my jack is? So I assume folks jack by the frame and place the jack stands under the axel by the springs. Is this right? I need a few inches to slide my fat gut under there to install some skids. I started trying the differential cover but the jeep leaned toward the driver's side, and it didn't help me with how to do the passenger's side.
