scavanau They make fabric paint. I used it on my "then faded purple now black again" sound bar.

My next step is to use fabric paint for the padding as well, just need to work up the motivation to wrestle the padding off.

same stuff man, as long as its breathable it can be spray dyed...good luck!
( I done the same to lots of stuff )

BFV you can just get new ones, heres a few options.

If you're set on dyeing them, make sure to get a waterproof dye, otherwise black dye will bleed all over the place if they get wet. Lemmie know how it works out!

roll bar cage covers dyeing process?

i have a 97 jeep wrangler sahara edition and my jeep is mostly black and white on the outside, i have started painting the dash already and have had good success with dura(something) vinyl paint from o'reilly auto parts. im bout to start on my center console and while doing the painting of the interior i was wonder what the process of "dyeing" or changing the tan roll cage padding to black color. any suggestions and references will be of help. thanks!
