khenderson its bolted on. but it's a pain in the ass to get off. fortunately, when i did mine, i was replacing the manifold as well, so i just cut the pipe with a saw and called it good.
but it will unbolt.

Exhaust Manifold Help

I am replacing my exhaust system for my 98 TJ. The manifold looks good, so I am leaving it on. So I start to unscrew the nuts that hold the S pipe to the manifold (where the flange is) and no go. Sprayed down with PB blast, and tried again later. Now the nuts are rounded off. I figure no problem, I will use my metabo to cut the bolts off. Then I realize the look like bolts but will not come out
Are these pressed in or what? They sure look like bolts to me.
Any suggestions?
