welcome to the forum, first of all your front is a dana 30, they all are 30's untill the rubicon. your rear is most likely a dana 35 unless you are lucky and it has the very less comon d44 out back. either way get yourself 5 qts of 80w90 gear oil, a gasket scraper, and a tube of rtv and you're ready to cause some damage.
here's a link that will help you determine which rear axle you have: Axle Identification Chart
if its limited slip in the rear most synthetic gear lubes will have the additives already.

|Jerry Bransford||The front is always a Dana 30 for Saharas & your rear axle could be either a Dana 35c or a Dana 44. Do you know if your TJ has a Tracloc rear limited slip differential? Check out the rear axle pics in http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/i-ha...ave-45547.html so you can tell what your rear axle type is.|

TJ diff fluid
I am wanting to change the fluid in the front and rear diffs and I am not sure of the capacity or which axle I have. The front is stamped with DANA 40869-136-0 and the rear is DANA 43225-115-0. I am thinking the front is a Dana 35 and the rear is a Dana 44 but I might be wrong. It is a 2001 Sahara. Thanks
