Jerry Bransford I can give you the p/n I used for my TJ's D44 pinion seal, the brand is SKF, p/n 15525. It looks like the seal in the photo above.

There are however two different types of seals used with the other one being internal... but the odds are very good yours is that particular seal which you can easily find using Google's shopping website at Google Shopping.

LadyMudder I'm not sure what it looks like, I took the Jeep in for service and I was informed that the seals need to be replaced. All I can tell you is that I have a Dana 44, 4.56 ratio, 30 spline with an OX locker.

Jerry Bransford If your pinion seal looks like this, with an external steel 'lip' on it (on the bottom edge of the below seal) that sits on the the surface of the housing outside of the pinion shaft opening, I can get you that seal p/n when I get home tonight. I suspect yours is most likely like this one...

Dana 44 Axle Seal

Does anyone have the part number for a Dana 44 (front) outer axle seal or know where I can buy them? I'm looking to replace mine with either National, Timken, or Spicer and I'm finding conflicting information.
