foxinthemudd sounds like you got a normal rig. they usually get a little louder when you down shift due to the higher RPM's

foxinthemudd wouldn't worry about it. what type of exhaust you got on your rig?

noise after downshifting

When I downshift while slowing down, I have noticed my jeep makes a little bit of a rumbling sound. Its not a backfire just a deeper rumbling sound.

Exhaust issue? Anything to worry about?
