JeeperRob There are lots of old bridges in Wharton. I have driven over all of them that i have come across and never had a problem. They keep the roads maintined out there in case there is ever a fire and they need to get crews out there.

Wharton State Forest-wooden bridge?

Hello!

I was off road today for the first time in my 95 YJ and I came across a wooden bridge off Old Jackson Rd...I think specifically it was Old Atsion Rd.

I coward from going over it, b/c I wasn't sure if it could handle the weight of a motorized veh despite seeing tire tracks leading up too and on the other side of it.

Anyone know where I'm talking about and if its safe to pass over?

Thanks!!
