kswyg001 i dunno if anyone else is looking on ebay, but i noticed that planet jeep has lowered their amount of things on eBay yess!!! this is good. less potential for people to get scammed.
04-26-2010 12:22 PM
kswyg001 so here is the tracking number if you are chomping at the bit like i am to get more info on it. 760450060407762 thru fedex
04-23-2010 11:46 AM
kswyg001 i got it shipped off yesterday and it'll be there on the 28th! he charged me $47 for shipping but it cost me $150 to ship it back which paypal is supposed to reimburse me.

so looking at this objectively- if you start with his $250 price tag and remove $150 for shipping, that leaves $100 for materials and labor. that would explain why the bumper was crooked as could be. i cant wait for this to be over.

i'll keep ya updated guys and gals
04-21-2010 12:06 PM
kswyg001 so here is the update- paypal granted my claim and now i just have to ship the crap back to him. paypal has pulled thru for me!!

still waiting on paypal to give me my money. the package is supposed to be picked up today and then we wait.....but it wont get to cali before his timeline is up so paypal may force him to give me my money back before he actually receives the bumper.
Yea I don;t do all that good with my little wirefed mig fluxcore either, but I do a lot of welding at work and one thing I have learned, a grinder is a welders best friend
I gotta check out Open Air, I haven['t been in their store yet, hell I didn't even know they had one in Va Beach

kswyg001 i'm gonna go and leave a feedback response comment and it's not gonna be very nice at all. he was supposed to have fedex pick it up today but they never showed, so maybe tomorrow.
04-15-2010 10:11 AM
mrcarcrazy Once you get your money, leave neg. feedback, or neutral at best....

I don't ever buy from anyone w/ less than 99% pos. as a general rule. I try to stick with 99.9% or higher, and I've had great luck.

Sometimes you have to pay a bit more, but at least the risk is smaller.

Good luck with the resolution.
he makes deals with people to remove the negative feedback and thats how he draws more buyers in. if everyone who got screwed by him left negative feedback then he would not be selling anymore

if you look at the pictures, there is no way that shipping caused this

holes Funny that you should post this on here. About 4 months ago I had a pretty rough encounter with them. They promised to replace pieces, after a month and a missing fender flare, i finally just sent them a payment for the flare they promised to replace for free. I got quite a few bull sh.. stories about how they were discontinued etc. Keep in mind that that his Dealer for the parts is also on eBay. truckpart4less is his name. They sell a very low quality product and they are simply put, scam artists.

wolfen Man I just saw the pics you posted on the other forum. I can do better than that with the scrap galvanized junk we throw away at work. it looks like the end cap in that one pic isn't even welded on, and that pos is as square as a circle.

looks like he dropped that listing, but here is another one of his
New Jeep Wrangler TJ YJ 1987-06 RRC Bumper Grille Guard : eBay Motors (item 200458698901 end time Apr-13-10 14:32:53 PDT)

he advertises it as an RRC but it is indeed genuine crap and not RRC at all. I personally spoke with someone at RRC and they confirmed that it wasn't theirs.
