and the reason it got me wondering if a 5.25" could fit in there.
Obviously, you're not going to get any kind of bass out of these things.
(nor would I personally want to)
I'm just thinking that you'd get more sound out of them specifically because of the location alone.
I have some 5.25" Infinity Kappas in my dash right now that sound great for the highs,
but I know I'm not able to enjoy them as much as I could due to them being lower, in the dash, and partially blocked by my leg.
this might be a nice upgrade if you could fit at least a good 5.25" in there,
but probably not worth it if you're limited to a 4", IMHO.
If anyone has these pods or have heard some before, we're waiting for ya to chime in.

Curious about this too...
And SoB.... Isn't that just the best thing about a Jeep? What ever it may be, the only true response is "It's a Jeep.........."

|sonofabeach||I kind of like that. I wonder how good the sound can be with 4 inch speakers but then again it's a jeep...it's supposed to sound like crap.|

Anyone using these types of Speaker Pods?
If so, how do they sound?
I'm just thinking you'd get alot more volume and high end out of them being aimed right at your head,
rather than sitting lower in the dash and being blocked by your leg a bit.
I'm also wondering if a 5.25" speaker can be fit in there without having to modify the hole itself.
Just like our soundbars normally seat 5.25",
but the hole can easily accommodate most 6.50" speakers.
