jeeperman The rig that we competed with at the ORCC is running 36" SX's and a dana 44 front with no truss without a problem. I don't think that you should worry too much about the front.

1BLKJP You won't have near the force on the front axle as you will on the rear. It probably only see about half of what the rear does.

D44 axle truss

Does anyone know where i can get a dana 44 FRONT axle truss? I recently purchased one for the rear D44 from a co. called BTF (www.bluetorchfab.com),and they do not have a front one ..yet.Right now i'm running 35's but will go to 36 or 37's and am worried that without the truss,i'll break the front 44.
