ANDYMAN YES pix are needed, I plan on going with the same set up but with the heavy springs.
also how much lift did you end up gettting out of it. I hear anywere from 2.5 to 3.5

530ktm I put in the 2 inch Old Man Emu coil lift along with the shocks and steering stabilizer, track bar extension in rear and the lowering of the transfer case as well as the wheel alingment. I decided to go with the stock spring weight as I do not intend on winches, bumpers or any other heavy duty add ons. I am very pleased with the outcome. It rides very nice and soaks up the bumps as good as if not better than stock. I intend on keeping my 31 BFG's and have fun with this.

530ktm Now is the question of which OME lift to get. They have the medium or heavy duty and some say to get the heavy duty no matter what. I have all stock bumpers and soft top so I don't carry a bunch of extra weight. The heavy duty will ride the same but the springs are a bit longer so I would get a bit more lift out of this. Is this true?

Could be the first time I've heard of 4WP giving out decent advice. Usually they want to push their ProCrap stuff on you! Lot's of guys run the OME 2.5 set up, and I've rarely heard of anyone complaining about the set up. The only draw back in my mind is the TC drop kit . . . BOOOOOOO. Personally I'd rather give up that extra .5" of lift and not have to drop the belly . . . never understood why OME doesn't just sell a 2" kit without the drop, but that's just me. Usually I'd just go with a 2" BB like the one from RE, but on a 99, your springs have probably seen better days, so I'd probably want to get new coils. Bilstein makes a good shock, people love the OMEs, and the RE MonoTubes are okay too . . . just stay away from the RE twin tube and pretty much any Rough Country shocks.

530ktm I went to 4 wheel parts out here in Calif. and they reccommended the OME using the 4 springs with their shocks and no need for the lower control arms as well but a Trans. Case lower comes with the kit. I am leaning toward this set up.

jdhallissey I would just run a 2.5in taller coil and bilsteins 5150's on all four corners. Then you really don't need to change out your control arms but currie makes some of the best in the business. They will run ya about 900 for the set on the jeep. But the jeep will ride like a dream with all that on there.

Suspension lift confusion

I have had my 1999 TJ Jeep for years and now want to do some light mods. After reading many postings I have decided to put the Lock Right in the front. I want to lift it a little and thought of going with the REBB but then was talked out of that and into the OME kit. Then I was told to go with spacers in the back, new springs in front with Bilsteins all the way around with new lower control arms. This would raise the back about an inch and the front about 2.5 inches, basically leveling the vehicle. I plan on running the same BFG 10 x 31 on my stock rims with perhaps spacers to move them out a bit. Does anyone have any input about doing this lift this way. Dependable Offroad prefers this last method and they would do the work. Thank you for advice.
