nate609 nick19729 thanks for info and the website. I have a 2000 TJ and also have 2002 TJ what do you have for a Jeep or Jeep's?

nick19729 I recently replaced my 2.5 on my 97 and a couple of auto salvage places told me 97 and 98 motors could fit each other only.Dont quote me on that. You can try car-parts.com and search auto salvages, near you, if you want to go that route. Will run you about 1k.

haaswyk i dont know about fitment but i know in some states (especially california) they do not allow you to put in an engine older then your car ... like you cant put a 2000 engine in a 2008 car has to be your year or newer.

Motor

Hey everyone just wondering if a 98 Jeep TJ motor would work in a 2000 Jeep TJ? It is a 2.5 4cyl 5 speed stick 4x4 VIN#P. Or even better if anyone knows where I could pick one up @ would be even better.

Thanks
Nathan
