Like Oldgus said, your best bet would be to do a BB (budget boost) then add a small body lift. Keep the Jeep like that and as your skill/desire increases you can upgrade later.
You don't have to to a motor mount lift with the BL, you can readjust the fan/shield.

|NYLJUnlimited||thanks for the info oldgus seems like some good reviews and alot of bad ones. I was really looking for a complete kit to do but I guess I would need more money for that or I just go with what you suggested is it real difficult to do the body lift and motor mount lift. Ive done jeep full complete kit lifts but never body lifts and motor mounts lifts how does that ride thanks.|

You could go with a 2" budget boost (BB - spacers on top of your springs) or a 2" - 2 1/2" spring lift (preferable) and then add a JKS 1.25" body lift (BL) and 1" motor mount lift (MML) If you do the install yourself you could get by with the $$ you have to spend. Here's my LJ with that same set-up and 33s:
Edit: I forgot - I also have a 3/4" spacer in front on top of the 2" springs giving me a total of 4" in front with the body lift and 3 1/4 in the rear.

Definitely lift it. LJs look goofy until they're lifted, then they're badass. $650 probably isn't going to cut it for a 4" lift, unless you can split it up between a small spring lift and a small body lift. Typically, a 4" spring lift requires you to also address the driveshaft in the rear by way of a SYE and CV driveshaft. Some Jeeps can get by with a 4" spring lift and a transfer case lowering kit, but you're defeating the purpose there. Do it right and do it once. Use the SEARCH function and you'll find all kinds of modifications here on the board that will help you out.

New to the game!
Wasup wranglerforums I just got a 2005 Wrangler LJ love the car and love the community but I think its time for me to lift this bad boy I have a set 33" tires that I want to put in. I'm looking for some guidance I want a 4" lift I will be doing offroading nothing really crazy but trails I'm looking to spend about $650 thats what I got to play with any good 4" lift kits that would be great also this is my daily driver. Thanks for the help guys love the jeep game.
