ratuna Is this supposed to be a AD for the Islander? If so no offense but that was a terrible classified. Pics? Price? Mileage? Color? Details?????

If not then ignore all that and welcome to WF and congrats on a strange first post!!!

89 Islander, love Jeeps but gotta sell, not enuf time and $$

Hi all - I'm new to this forum but have posted on car forums for years. My 1989 Wrangler Islander "Project jeep" is my second jeep. I love these trucks!! I had an 87 Wrangler some time before that I bought for my son, GREAT FUN!! Following that, I bought this Islander as a project - looks nice, but had been sitting a couple years and needs TLC. Problem for me is time and most folks, I guess. I already have another classic car I've been trying to finish, and I wish I could keep the Jeep too until I finish this car, but alas, money shortages.....blah all know the drill, and jobs here in South Carolina are tough so not a lot of folks spending money. Oh well, reluctantly I will be selling the olde gal but will save this site and maybe this time next year instead of spending say, $2000, I'll up the ante and spend enough to get a Wrangler that's in top shape. I've enjoyed browsing here and reading all of your great info and comments! Best, Chuck in Aiken, SC
