daddyjeep Did you gut polyeurothene bushings? If you did, then a little grease will be a good thing. Not sure what kind though.

kyle i dont know about the springs, i havent done any yet but its never good to put grease or oil on anything rubber unless you have to for some odd reason.

Lift Install Questions...

Hey Gang,

OK, I have my 2" 4wd Hardware lift kit, looks to all be there....

Prior to installation, two questions....

1) It appears to have military wrap on both ends of the leafs, will my OEM shackles give me any issues, the clearance looks adequate, but have heard there 'may' be issues....

2) Do you recommend lubricating the bushings on the leafs prior to assembly....the instructions don't indicate it, but have heard a film of grease may be desireable...if so..will high temp axle grease suffice? Thoughts?
