Sahara1998 I have the Banks lifetime warranty header on my 98 Sahara. The first one did eventually crack but they sent me a new one with no hassle and that one has been on for several years now. I was very pleased with the product and the service. When the jeep was still under factory warranty I went through four of the crappy Jeep headers.

meatlord I have a Pacesetter header I removed from a 99 tj 4.0 it is missing the "Y" pipe tho. They were not prone to cracking due to the design. I can Email pics.

That part I bolded bears repeating, make sure it has the bellows joints that look like an accordian joint to resist if not completely eliminate future cracking. The header in the eBay link given by Solman is the type of header I would go for myself.

solman I put one on my 97 tj with a 4.0 about 2 months ago. I got one from ebay that was $70 shipped. It fit perfect and I have not had any issues with it so far. I did not use the gasket that it came with though I bought a felpro gasket at the parts store for $12.
Look in my jeep profile I have a pic or 2 of it.

please help with header

ok I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler 4.0, i tore into it the other night because of the exhust leak only to find a broken header. I have been trying to find the best deal on a header and find one that works. I spoke with a tech at rugged ridge and they say they dont even make a header for a 1999 4.0 because of the fit. Has anyone put a header of any kind that worked with no leaks on their 1999 wrangler.
