hooper Start using a Go Pro or other video camera to document. They will keep telling you it was not duplicated when you take it in. I used my videos to help with my lemon law case on my 2012JKR. I had some of the same issues you are talking about. Added to what you posted my radio and ac would cycle on and off and most of the time not come back on and my windows would not roll down either. I ended up getting a 2013JKR with no problems as of now.

Dr.Ew Thanks a lot, Blastek. I'll try and see how it looks.

Blastek Sounds like a bad ground or the TIPM.

edit. i remember reading that someone had similar issues and eventually found that the power harness going into the TIPM PCB was loose and did not have enough slack. Jiggling the harness caused random codes. He fixed it himself. Can't find the thread now.

2014 JKU Rubicon electronics snafu

I am going to throw this out here to see any fellow jeepers have similar experiences or thoughts.

I have a 2014 Unlimited Rubicon with 1000 miles on it. For the past two weeks has had several episodes of throwing up for warning codes. The situation never seems to be reputable, no common precipitating events.

It has happens when driving, and all the gauges go crazy, with the Speedometer Dropping to 0 while driving.

I pulled up the codes on the EVIC, Which showed me the following. However, the dealership said there were over 30 codes total on the log.

These are by and large U codes. Last Friday, while plowing my driveway during a big snowstorm, the Jeep stopped and would not restart. It had power, but would not try to turn over.

I called roadside assistance, but before a tow truck could get there I tried again and it worked.

I dropped it off at the dealership and they just called. Their technician went over all the connections, all the processes, could not find a cause for the issue. The suggestion is that I keep driving it, in the hopes that they can catch it during an "event."

Anyone ever have similar problems, any thoughts? I am clearly unhappy about having a brand-new vehicle which may or may not start in the middle of nowhere.
