UK CJ7 compliance plate

G'day

I was wondering if anyone owns a CJ7 in the UK or Europe around the 84' model and if their vehicle has a Jeep factory compliance plate riveted to the firewall? It should have the vin number and seating capacity and other info. Mate has one on his but its a 78' and a bit odd if they didn't put them on later models.

Just trying to find out because mine doesn't have one and it was imported from the UK and been registered in Australia for many years and no one has picked up it until now.

Any info would be great.

Cheers
