4Jeepn You need everything. computer etc.. wires etc... also you got a tranny to swap as well or does that come with it? T-case adaptor or new t-case needed. In the long run.. its far eaiser to sell your jeep and buy a 6cly.

motor swap?

ok so i was just looking around on craigslist and i came across this a 4.0 I6 from a 92 grand cherokee and was wondering if it would fit in my 97 SE heres what the add says..

Got a 4.0L I6 from a 92 Jeep Cherokee. It ran fine before the Jeep was in a rollover last November. Needed a rear main seal, which I have the new one, easy to install now that the tranny is removed. I was going to rebuild it so I removed the A/C compressor, alternator, distributor, and brackets from the right side of the block. I have all of these parts in a bucket. The only part it is missing is the fan, just because it got damaged.

$100 obo
