85fiero When I got hit in my YJ, I bought it back from the insurance and then sold to an older guy that wanted to use it solely for plowing. I ran into him about 6 months later at a store and asked him how it was doing for him, he said that if plowed great and he likes it so much he's driving around a lot in the summer too. Just some food for thought.

khenderson it all depends on what you want to do. definitely get the 4.0L like amerijeep said. i love my little 4 banger, but i wish it had more umph. the yj's are gonna be a bit easier to modify, but the tj has a better ride(coil springs). so i'd start with knowing what you want to do with your wrangler and go from there. if all you wanna do is plow and tool around in the summer, then a yj is probly a great choice. although once you get one, the fever(or sickness) will take over!!

amerijeep Nice choice in the Wrangler. My only advice is to get a 6 cyl instead of the 4 cyl. The different models really depend on when they were built. I'd say for for a nice YJ, but I'm biased.

Somebody else might have input.

Good luck.

Plowing With A Wrangler

Hi all,

A newbie here with a question. I want to get a Jeep to plow my driveway with in the winter and take the top off in the summer. Any suggestions on which Model you prefer. I'm just in the beginning stages of researching the Wrangler and need some advice.
