Uconnect on 2010 JK wrangler Sport

I was able to get the Uconnect module for my 2010 JK 2DR Sport. The JK came with a RES radio and had the buttons for the phone. The Uconnect Module was $257.00 and I had a 20 or 25% discount coupon for accessories you get from the dealer when you buy the Jeep. So it ran me around 200.00 but not having the tech know how or the guts to tear apart the dash and do the Mic and installion I paid 200.00 for them to do it. But i will say it is a Great Option..it connects with my $19.00 TRACFONE and makes handfree dialing with voice commands..and you can aslo control the radio with voice commands ..it is a pretty cool thing.

brodydez I also remember seeing somewhere you could buy it online aftermarket as either a refurb or something for fairly cheap. Can't remember where though.

Klenger To the best of my knowledge the uconnect is only available as a factory option with the nav system. It is available as a dealer option with the other radios.

tangofoxtrot I have Uconnect in my 2010 Unlimiter Rubicon. I know it is also available in the Sahara but I'm not sure about the Sport. It works great by the way.

2010 JK The dealer just told me that Uconnect is not available on Wrangler Unlimited. Is this a true statement or is this guy full of it.
