daggo66 The mud terrains are definitely louder, but once you hit 80 you leave the sound behind! One suggestion would be to check around for someone selling their Rubicon tires and wheels. You can usually find a set of 5 for between $500 and $800. Here's what they look like on a red rock:

new rims/ tires

so currently i have the steelies and i dont really like them. next week i am putting real tires on them and getting rid of the wrangler st's. i am either getting the goodyear mud terrain or the goodyear wrangler duratrac cuz that is good on the highway too. how are the mud terrains on the highway? i drove a jeep with the MTR's and it was horriblly loud at 50 so i cant imagine it at 80. also i plan on getting new rims after the winter so i need reccomendations on a 16 inch rim for my 2 dr X. its red rock crystal so im not sure whether to go black or silver. any suggestions? pictures of the rims on your jeeps would be helpful. thanks!
