Axle shaft leak?

So i was at the dealer today getting my cat's checked due to an annoying rattle can noise at low rpm's, turns out bolts holding the exhaust on the manifold were stripped somehow... Anyways when It was on the lift I took a good look underneath and looks like my axle shafts are leaking? or could this oil/fluid be coming from somewhere else? The mechanic at the dealer ship said it was the axle shaft seal, but I am not to familiar with these types of things any input/advise is appreciated. Thanks

If you look at the pic you can see all the oil around the end of the axle shaft.
