Ibuildembig Blackie my first YJ I had 1 tons, 4:56's, ford 347 injected motor, np435 tranny, 205 case, and 38 boggers and I got around 14 on the highway

Would like to do a drivetrain swap in the future and always like to see what others have done before making any final decisions on what parts I want to use.

csamn2007 If you are looking for MPGs i would go with a diesel. 4BT swaps are getting more common.

Drove to the beach last weekend and got 13.8 mpg on the highway.
I usually get about 12 mpg combined

I would like to know how many MPG people are getting with their engine swaps.
Include any of the following information possible:
Engine
Transmission
Transfercase
Axles and Gear ratios
Tire Size
and of Course MPG
