Hawaii 5-0 Are your connections completely pushed in (on a quick disconnect plug) and are your splices heat-shrinkned?

I installed a similar light on mine. I installed a quick disconnect before my led light came in the mail, and I blew a fuse when the one exposed metal prong touched the aluminum rim. I should have foreseen that mistake.

3rd Brake Light Wiring Help!

I installed a new 3rd brake light and it keeps blowing the fuse. What did I do wrong/how do I fix this?

This is what i installed directly into the old wiring.
