tjokee If the Jeep is very clean and the motor and drivetrain was regularly maintained, I say buy it. I paid $8,900 for a stock 2000 Sahara with 69,000 miles. IMO, you can never have too many Jeeps if the price is right.

Owen_TJ like the others said...make sure on the diff as well as the slip yoke. Not a bad deal. And as Inferno said, offer 7 n see if ya get anywhere.

jayc sounds like a good deal, lots of extras but lots of miles. why so many, did he say? My 97 has 135K and i've taken that thing all over the US.

cavediverjc Check your rear. 35" tires on a D35 is not a good thing. Look for a metal fill plug on the diff cover. If it's metal, it's the D44....if it's rubber, it's the D35.

yeah lots of great extras, oh and i drove it and opened it up pretty good and it had no vibes at all

King of Beers Probably want to check and make sure it has a SYE with that 5" lift and the D44. Sounds like he has some good extras to come with it...

InfernoGirl If it's not all rusted out or beat to death, and it has a D44 rear diff, then yeah, it's probably not a bad deal, IMO. Offer $7k and see if he bites....

2001 TJ sport for $8000 good deal or not?

ok im lookin at the wrangler cause my other jeep kinda quit on me. this one has a 5'' suspension lift with 35's, both hard and soft top, aftermarket front and rear bumpers, 9000lb winch, 4 KC's, high lift jack, extra battery tray, its a I6 5 speed with 140xxx miles on it, oh and extra mirrors for when the door are off, what yall think? good deal?
