jeeperman You can look at this thread to find the best way to determine the pressure that will give you the most even/longest wear out of your tires. The MAX pressure is exactly that, the highest pressure to run in your tires without possible damage. It has no relation to the reccomended pressure on the street.

4Jeepn Is this the std Bias or the radial? Either way the 45 on the side wall is the MAX cold tire pressure. I have run a set of 33's std TSL and used to keep them fairly close max pressure,(5-10lbs from number) as I felt they road a bit better that way. I still had the flat spotting and the thump thump for the first few mins of driving but that's a swamper. Some will run less air in them for street use, but I always felt that at higher speeds they got a bit mushy at lower PSI. thus that is why I kept it on the high side.

Super Swamper TSL question

I have 31x10.5x15 Super Swamper TSL's on my 2000tj. Not my tire of choice, but that what came on it. The sidewall says to run it at max of 45 psi. My question is what shoul it be for daily driving if 45 is the max? Is that where I am supposed to run it>??
