|crepitus||Can you recommend the backspacing for a 35x12.50x15 on a TJ?|

Thanks for the reply - so to expand on that a little - is the following true
(first yes i have the stock canyon rims) 15x7 with 5.5 bs)
if I went with the same 15x7 rim with 4.25 bs - the rim would be 1.25 inches out past the stock rim
if I went with a 16x8 rim with 5.0 bs - the rim would be 1.5 inches out past the stock rim...

Forget the Offset dimension, it's not a useful measurement for Jeeps.
For a 32x11.50, you can use more backspacing like 4" so the wheels won't stick out as far. Personally I'd rather go with 4.5" if available, I don't like the wheels sticking out any further than absolutely necessary.
And how much more the wheel will stick out depends on the width and backspacing of your current wheels.
Assuming your factory wheels are 15x7 with the usual 5.5" of backspacing, the outer edge of a 15x8 wheel with 4.5" of backspacing will be be positioned 2" further out.

how far past stock flares / backspacing
How far past the stock fenders will the rim / tires come out for a 2001 Wrangler sport. Going to a Procomp series 69 flat black rim - 15x8 with -19mm offset - with Kumho 32x11.5R15LT
or same question with same tires on black rock steel 15x8 type 8's that say -19mm offset/3.7 backspace
last question - is it better to go to a rim with 4inch backspacing but not have any rubbing.
stock suspension right now...
Thanks for any help
