Body Lift question

I want to install a 1" body lift on my 2006 LJ 6 speed but I was wondering about the placement of the new "puck"... The way my rocker guards were installed (on the Jeep when I got it) makes it so I can't install the body lift the way the instructions say (both JKS and Performance) since they attach to the body mounts.

They say to install them like this:
Body
New 1" puck
OEM bushing
Frame mount
OEM bushing

The way my rocker guards are setup are:
Body
OEM bushing
Rocker guard
Frame mount
OEM bushing

This would make it so I can't put the new puck on top of the OEM bushing because it won't fit between the rocker guard and the body so would it be a bad idea to put the puck between the rocker guard and the frame mount?

Like this:
Body
OEM bushing
Rocker guard
New 1" puck
Frame mount
OEM bushing

I could probably raise the rocker guards up tighter to the body, but I don't know if I could do it enough to make the bottom flush to the body... Also I would rather not drill new holes in the rockers of my Jeep (even though they would be covered up) but if it's the only way I guess I will have to...

Thanks!
