Safe travels, kev! Enjoy your visit with your mom!

Razer I have yet to see anything different that the dealers are doing? Does anyone have a picture of a new or custom door seal that the dealer installed?

Did you leave the rails on when you sprayed? Did you just spray the scratch?

Yes, left them on.

Sanded down around the scratch and then masked off around it and masked off the bottom of my Jeep to protect it from overspray.

Finally got around to installing my Quadratec Hitch. Still have to get the 4pin harness installed. Save that for another day. Month close at work drains me.

alleycat14 I have an appointment for next Thursday, I've already told them to have some door seals ready cause they"re gonna need them. They replaced all them more than once except for the middle one. They tried at my local stealership for 2 1/2 weeks then sent it 75 miles away to their leak specialist and it worked. I filed a claim with chrysler and they were acually really good. I'll do it again if I have to. I'll let you know how it goes.

HardEcho3 Had my drivers side door seal replaced yesterday at the dealership, didn't think the leak was all that bad at first, I assumed the slush mat caught most of the water, but I pulled the mat and under the carpet was damp. Hope the new seals work...

Wow, that's a long time for leaks. Did they replace every seal on the Jeep??? Keep us posted.

How do you know that it failed a factory inspection? Assuming you had the dealer fix it, can you tell us what the did?

Wow! Sounds like your jeep is growing up! Can't wait to see how it turns out!

We have a '13 and a '14 and neither one leaks so far. [knockonwood]

At least when the panels in the hard top are on correctly!

Unfortunately no tires at this point I am out of money :-( but I will have most of the other stuff done and have to save up for tires.

Hope so. Mine is a 2 dr. The only leaks I have (so far) are the ones at the bottom of the front doors. It didn't soak the Jeep or the carpet....slush mat catches most of it, damp carpet along the door where it runs between the mat and the plastic trim. It burned me up at first, but I'm getting over it as I know it could be much worse.

Both. Have there been reports of leaks at the rear doors of JKUs though? So far, only my front doors are leaking...and my tailgate window.

Both, well I'm the only one with half doors having leaks, but there aren't a whole lot of us out there.

You can get the seals replaced, but it won't necessarily fix it (and some have ended up with worse problems). I had both seals replaced once after my leaks got worse (driver and passenger door). We've had one rain storm since and I leaked on the driver's side. Passenger side was dry so far but it could have just been the direction of the wind. It's a crapshoot....if you're leaking a lot, I would take it in but if it is just a few drops, I'd try cleaning and lubricating the seals first (Honda shin etsu grease) and see if that works. I'm not taking mine back at this point, but if it gets worse, I will try again.
