|BigEZ||don't know how close you are to Rockford, but a guy on craigslist listed 2 for $500 a piece TODAY. I highly recommend you check 'em out b/c you probably won't find one for less than a grand with the cold coming up. I am guessing they're so cheap cuz he's all the way up there.|

|Lando Lincoln||Thanks... I'm gonna shop the used market.|

x2 on the used. Paying 1000+ or so is insane. There are several 2 piece tops but from reading posts, they can be difficult to get them to seal well at times.
If you find a good deal on whatever color, painting it is not a bad option. Plenty of people including myself have used Krylon Fusion with good results.

|Bruck||I just found one on Craigslist for $500 and snatched it up. I have been beaten to the punch so many times and I finally won! Either way, I would suggest picking one up second hand. New is alot of $$. If you chose tan (which I think looks sweet with green) you can usually find alot of them on Craigs because everyone wants black. I have a silver Rubi so I had to hold out for black. Plus, any TJ top will do so you have alot of years to select from.|

|Bad Co.||I would go with a black top all the way. I think ,that black accenting looks good on a green jeep. It makes them look like military jeeps...|

|ammoniaman||You might check out Black Mountain tops, Collins Bros. had them on sale for $1395. I think green with a tan top looks good.|

Which Hard Top?
An age old question (I'm sure) - from a Newbie.
I am looking at putting a new hard top on a Green 1998 Wrangler Sahara. Geoff@bestop has his opinion, but I am also considering a Bulldawg.
1-piece w/sunroof v. 2-piece?
Black v. Tan?
