dodenhoff Thanks for the welcome. Already have one question answered on removing the 2" front lift which seems to influence the wobble tendency. Thanks again for the info.

New to Wrangler World

Hi from South Carolina: Daniel 68 and remember the Jeeps in parades after WW2, former/has been Class C Motorcycle flat track racer 1962-66, Bible College/language schools 67-75, Christian Missionary for 40 years, developed tribal alphabet on Island with no roads, only foot paths/ruts and even my bicycle was useless. Did not drive for over 4 years at one assignment. Levite extraction, contributing writer for a Messianic mag for 25 years. semi retired in 03 went motorcycle drag racing in Harley world and won my first round at the All Harley Drag Race Association event at Rockingham in 04. Currently have a MULE Street Tracker: C&J mono shock chromemolly frame with Buell XB 9 running gear, a 2004 Harley Superglide Sport with Velorex sidecar, a Yamaha 250cc and a Kawasaki/Honda Civic trike. Been working repairing motorcycles and building hotrods/race cars for others to suppliment my income but decided to get a C1 Corvette which I'm looking for now. As part of the Corvette feaver bought an 84 fixer and a 96 Stingray in boxes that I got the body rebolted to the frame and the engine running and when it was tradeable swapped for an 03 Wrangler 4 cyl 5 speed. Health is going south due to arthritis so decided to finish the current 6 cars and have one 1956-60 Vette and a utility vehicle like a Jeep. This is my third Jeep, first was a 1948 Jeep Delivery with 302 ford, AT and 8". Second was a 91 Cherikee Laredo I wish we had back and now this real Jeep with no door glass, a 5 speed that wife cannot shift and wind noise that blocks the Pioneer cd player. Tried to attend a rock race at the Gulches near Laurens SC and on the driveway felt that old back injury so turned around to help save as many joints and ligiments as possible. The Wrangler had a few minor issues like the DEATH WOBBLE which was helped by a stabilizer shock but needs the front lift spacer removed and a panhard bar rubber replaced with plastic, tires rebalanced and alignment. Hope to get a 4 door Jeep with hard top, automatic and glass door windows. This form is very helpful to a new Wrangler owner who does their own mechanic work. Hope to get to know many of you soon.
