re: Ford, I'm somewhat familiar with their drivetrains from having done a few f100 swaps way back when. If the 350 swap is easier, I'm all for it. Most likely, though, I'll do a bunch a reading, ask a ton of questions, then do nothing.

honestly, the electronics scares me to death. Maybe I could find a pre 75 to rebuild. lol

FNG from piedmont NC

just got an 89 YJ(I guess that's redundant, eh?), me and the boy(he's 9) are having a great time in it so far. We've named it Cletus.

I had a samurai back in the day, Cletus reminds me a lot of that, except a fair bit manlier. LOL

Anyways, I'm already eyeballing a small block ford engine swap, and I'm interested in talking to anybody that's done one. Been reading over on novak about it, sounds feasible, if not a bit over my head/shop capability.

Anyhoo, welcome aboard the crazy train!
