|doclouie||You are correct. That is just to keep the shock compressed and yes you will remove it when you install the shock.|

OME shock question
I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question but here goes..
Just got my 4 OME shocks delivered last night, they came with a metal rod around them which I believe is just to keep them compressed until use, I need to remove these metal retainers before installing them correct?
