It will if you do a good enough job... If you're fighting dog hair then I highly recommend Raptor lining it..... Then all that pesky dog hair will just blow out....
Edit: Billy YJ, I haven't put it back yet, but it's sitting here waiting for me to get around to it, I expect I will before winter hits, just to get it out of the garage, if nothing else..

|billy_YJ||Hey Inferno, do you keep your carpet in since doing the lining?|

|InfernoGirl||You know you can wash the carpet, right? Squirt it with some simple green and hit it with a power washer.... Let it dry in the sun, almost like new... Mine is almost 10 years old and it doesn't stink of sulfur mud anymore...|

Carpet - Here We Go Again
OK, so I'd like to replace the seven year old, stinky, mildewey carpet in the TJ. Now before you start hammering me with HERCULINER RULES, HERCULINER RULES, HERCULINER RULES, I will let you know that I'm considering it at a later time but I don't have the interest in doing it right now. Maybe next summer.
With that being the case, can anyone share their experience with an aftermarket manufacturer that fits the tub just like the original? I don't want to wind up with some ill-fitting product that doesn't match the original molding and shape of the OEM carpet and just looks like I threw a blanket in it. Thanks!
