Since I live in FL ,I became an expert dealing with the soft top, u now how the weather changes down here, rain comes and go in matter of minutes, so I had no choice.
Otherwise I would love to keep it topless all year-round.

On our honeymoon, my wife and I did a Jeep tour in St. Maarten. The Jeeps were all 06 X, soft top, automatics. The tour guides (if you can call them that) just threw the tops back and left everything hanging out and flapping.
I was about to go off the deep end until we stopped for lunch and I could sneak over and fix ours. They tried to tell me to stop messing with the top until they saw what I was doing and how neat and clean it looked when I got done.

Un hook everything, take the windows out
Take the two rear sail flaps out of the quarter, and fold them all the way up the top, then just tuck it in as your folding it down. The side snaps bend in toward the middle.
Folds up extremly neat if you do it right, ill take pics when I get the new one

|tiger22||haha, speaking of being able to fold the top neatly into the back i am still in search of the answer. doesnt look bad but there is nothing about "NEATLY" that applies to the way i fold it back|

|osbornl1||you running stock rims with that width tire?? if you are then they should be even or inset a little with the outermost edge of your flare. you may/will expereince some rubbing on your lower control arm when turning lock to lock (such as a u turn or parking) but it wont hurt anything and are some solutions posted out there.|

I had my 97 for 1.5-2 years, this one a few months, and I JUST figured out how to fold the soft top cleanly in the jeep.
Everyone has "stupid" questions.

Fit Question: 10.5" tires and stock flares
OK, this is my last newbie question and hopefully I won't be a newbie anymore.
Will 10.5" tires fit into the stock fender flares of an '02 Wrangler X?
