Grinding noise?!? Clutch? Help

Hey guys, im running into a bit of a problem. Just recently, whenever i start my car, i hear a really bad grinding/spinning noise and sounds almost squeaky. It sounds like its coming from my transmission. But once the car runs for a bit as it sits still, it goes away. Also when its in gear and running its fine as well. However, whenever im driving and press the clutch in then you can hear it spin down in that real squeaky noise. Its fairly annoying and id appreciate it if anyone can give me some insight as to what it could be. Thanks.
