|Garyk||A bad sensor will make it stall, surprised its even running, usually it will start and then stall.|

Code 12 = battery disconnected recently
Code 33 = a/c clutch relay this one will show up even if you don't have a/c
Code 14 = map sensor

|Hackle||Check the fuel lines to see if they are close to the exhaust. I sounds like you may be getting a vapor lock and that would create the codes you are getting. HTH|

It stalled again, so I am going to replace the Fuel Pump Relay, Auto Shutdown Relay, and A/C Relay (I have a/c, don't know why that one is missing). I'm suspect that the relays are being affected by the heat, but that is just a guess.
I'm also going to spread dialetic grease on all the large fuses.
I looked my distributor cap over, don't see any cracks.

F@ck me this is frustrating!
I replaced the fuel filter (facing the right way this time), and put some additive to "blend" the water that I suspect to be in my fuel tank, and cleaned up the engine grounding stap. Runs like a champ for two days.
My brother welded the hole in my exhaust down pipe put their by previous owners to pass smog (love CA!), and 15 miles later, it stalls. But this time there is good news - error code 14.
Here is my question, error code means that the MAP sensor is producing unacceptable voltage, or receiving unacceptable voltage? Now what?
I feel like a monkey, just scratching my head.

Try some "Dry gas", should do the trick

YJ stalls . . . sometimes
Yes, it's another newbie with a probably simple question. I have an '91 YJ 4.0L auto with 38k miles that stalls sporadically.
Today the wife and I drove 100 miles, filled up for gas, drove another 15-20 miles, was turning left onto the trail, and she died. YJ, not the wife.
Started up, drove 100 meters on the trail, stalled.
Check engine light flashed code 11, CPS. I have one of those! Changed sensor, and ran great! Then is stalled, maybe 10 minutes later.
I was able to limp the Jeep about 40 miles, during which it stalled 20+ times. When it starts, it starts strong. Sometime it stalls for .2 second and restarts itself, sometimes I have to come to a complete stop wait a minute or two, and then it starts.
When it stops running but I keep my foot on the gas a little (it would sometimes restart this way), it backfires.
Sometimes the motor runs for a few seconds, sometimes several minutes - tends to run longer after it has rested for a while.
The fuel rail had pressure, I am no longer getting the CPS code, although still getting code 12 and 33 on the Check Engine Light).
I guessing/hoping for bad gas? Does that happen anymore? I will also be swapping out the fuel filter. Someone please correct me!
