|nate32TJ||Yeah I can definitely relate to that Wilson haha, I wouldn't dare wave to anybody in certain parts if Vegas!|

|Willson||I feel Vegas is kind of slim on the waving also, some days everyones waving and others its like WTH is this guy waving at me for.... I also think it has to do with what side of town your on. One side of town i wouldn't dare wave at anyone, while another side you feel like there are bunch of snooty prudes. Then there's sometimes an ol'timer will be driving by and ill wave, and he does nothing, and i can hear him in my head saying "young whipper snapper think he knows what having a Jeep means with his new Jeep."|

|Hipposcottimus||I'm super new to jeepin. My yj is my first car and I'm 16, but my buddie who as driven his jeep for about a year now taught me to wave and another buddy of mine is about to get a tj and we will definently steer him straight with the wave.|

|capncraigagain||I'm a Troll (live below the Great Bridge) and my arm gets sore from all the waving down here. I suppose I'd better rig a crash test dummy arm before I get the dreaded "Wrangler Elbow".|

|EnRoute||I live in NJ and about one third of jeepers wave. I travel a lot and in PA it is a definite culture of Jeep Waves. Well done PA.|

|T_Craun62||Got up beside a dude in a TJ today at a stoplight he looked at me, I looked at him then waved. He jus looked back at the road and waited for the light to change... I feel like a loser lol :-(|

|donnell76||That's a shame here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania everyone waves and honks their horn|
|11-07-2013 10:01 PM|
|T_Craun62||No one waves here in Harrisonburg VA either... It's like no one even notices the other jeep passing em.. I've stopped waving|

Almost no one in West TX waves. Lots of JKs and most are owned by soccer moms here... some are actually pretty sweet too (showroom condition Sahara and rubis with various mods). They just look at me funny with my doors and roof off on my sport on steelies when it's 60 degrees outside.
Like many of y'all I come from motorcycling and it is borderline rude not to wave or nod if mid turn. I've all together given up with JK waves despite me owning one!

you'll find they come and go in spurts... i go a while without getting any - then all of a sudden every jeep i pass wants to wave..

The recent post have been great! I took Dewey to the Rubicon at lake Tahoe several years go. We were alone, Dewey didn't have any recovery equipment, the only mod at the time were 31.5 inch tires so we didn't go but a hundred feet, but at least we touched the trail. Jeeps are great even stock, but the person driving has to be smart in approaching a trail like the Rubicon without proper equipment.
Meanwhile Alexandria has become a veritable desert of no waves for the past several weeks. Dewey & I are definitely not feeling the love lately. :-(

|TCrow2||No one in los Angeles waves really. I don't even want to because every one is so uptight anyway. There is a lot of eye contact between passing jeeps though|

|Hechtagon||Been in Tampa Bay Area for almost four months now and hardly anyone waves to me. I've almost given up on the wave. I don't know if it's because every other vehicle is a Wrangler, lol, or if it's old vs new or what. I have a JK but it's modified so I thought I'd get waves from other modified Wranglers at least, but not too many. Every so often I'll get a nice wave or something. The other day at the grocery store I was talking to this man about fruit bars, lol, and when I was pulling out of the parking lot so was he was he. We were both in Wranglers, his being older. He looks back at me and says "I knew you were great people!" and drove off as we laughed. That's the fun part of it all.|

|Kikagarcia85||I too have experienced the wave! Love it!|
|10-29-2013 08:55 PM|
I am a new JK owner, but the dealer/ sales person did not mention anything about the wave.
i am a biker and was use to the cycle/Harley Wave. It would probably help sales to mention the
The spirit of jeeping.

"Thanks, I just hate seeing people waste time and money. Being in sales it's kinda against the grain. I feel that if I inform and educate my customers and trip attendees it will be not only a benefit to them but a better business practice and build our dealer in the end."
It's really great to see that there still are people like you out there!

|JoseGWrangler||I am new to the Jeeper family and have also experienced the 'wave'; which is a pretty cool thing. I used to have a Kharman Ghia and classic VW folks also wave to each other. Can't wait to find a reason to take my Wrangler out again!|

If you're somewhat local and would like to join one of my groups please PM me. My trips fill up fast. I think as of today I'm working on my next opening being December.
