Recovery in Mass

I decided to do some last minute wheeling this morning to show a friend of mine where I usually go. I noticed a group of vehicles going off one of the side trails, and they didn't look like they belonged... F350, Tacoma, Suburban... So I followed them. This is what ensued.

Cherokee broke a shock and bent the leaf springs backwards in the water, wasn't able to get pulled out so he left the vehicle overnight. I returned around the same time his friends did.

F350 backed up loaded with his friends to try and pull him out. Once they realized there was no front recovery points, I recommended pulling him out the other side and figuring out how to get him through once that was done.

I barely made it across the water, the F350 didn't follow. After a few attempts I was able to tug the Cherokee over a small rock he happened to fall behind. A quick jump start, and we managed to get him across and back on their way!

More pictures in the next post.

Enjoy!
