krutj I live in the snow belt of NW PA, and have not had a problem with the Jeep in the cold.

I do start the Jeep and let it warm up on cold days and I also put the transfer case in neutral and the tranny in gear during the warm up to get the tranny warm too.

Engine Block Heater

Anyone had any experience with an engine block heater? Jeep wants $88.00 for one..I live in Mid NY state and was wondering if they help prevent the freeze while you drive for 15 minutes?
