Undefinedskillz I'll check that out. Sounds like a reasonable assumption. Thanks.

fire239 I would check the axle shaft u-joints. When you apply your brakes and put a foward load on the joint, the sound could stop or become less noticeable.

Front end sounds?

I have 1997 jeep wrangler, recently I started hearing sounds from my front end/driveshaft. You can only hear it when I speed up to second gear or so and push in the clutch and let the jeep roll. It's a clinking sound. Also, if I barely touch my brakes the sound stops. I figured it was maybe my wheel bearings so I replaced both front hubs. If anyone has any idea what this could be I'd greatly appreciate your advice. Thanks.
