rando i will be removing this quick connect fitting several times and on several jeeps. That is why i want the right tool.

rando i have bought 2 different types of quick connect tools and nothing separates the fitting. A picture of what the tool looks likes would help. I am a maintenance man and my buddy is a engineer and we have asked auto-zone, napa, oriellys, etc and the tools they sell dont work. should be a simple task but has evaded me.

AzTJ Usually a dealer item for that cover... as far as the tool goes, NAPA should have them for sale, or you might be able to rent them at AutoZone.

I have a 06 4.0 auto. i just want to know what tool i need to disconnect the tranny cooler lines from the bottom of the radiator. I can unthread the fitting but i want to undo the quick connect so i can take the cooler line off without draining the radiator. also their is a white cover that snaps around the fitting i assume to keep mud and other debris out of it. where can i get that cover.
