|Joshpeb2||I have the LJ softopper and love it. They are good people to deal with. I called to get a price on a complete set of replacement windows in dark tint (mine are light). I was quite shocked at the price.....$150 for ALL 3! You won't be disappointed in the quality I can promise you that!|

Ok, well i ended up going with the Rampage top. The timeframe in which the softopper would be available for puchase was not quick enough for me..
So just as an update for anyone interested:
Larry at softopper emailed me today, saying the tops (model TJ02) should be ready for shipping today/tomorrow...And the softopper site will be updating with-in a day or two.
He gave me the number if anyone's interested in ordering by phone: 800 810 7227
Just passing along the info.

I never got any replies to this thread. But i did get some updated info from Softtopper (Larry)
He said they've come up with a top for use with the factory door surrounds. Below are a couple photos he sent me. I think this is great. He stated, that they may go in to production in a week or 2...

OK, so i'm in the market for a new soft top..and there was mention in another thread about Softopper Model #Wrangler
So i decided to inquire, and emailed them, telling them how the top is nice and looks good. I just didn't like how they mention that with soft doors it wouldn't be water-tight...Also explained that i am considering the rampage bowless top as well.
(if you look at the pics you'll see that a 1"x1" tube is used as the door surround, and it seems that the full hard doors close well with this. So i went on to say how i'd love to know if there was some way i could use my existing factory door surrounds that i use for my upper soft doors with this top.
Larry emails me back saying what i already knew, but also stated the following 2 days ago:
So far these guys sound promising. Of course they'd love to sell more tops, but i'm happy so far with them at least keeping in touch with me. I'm going to keep in contact with them. Hopefully, they can show me something that will work. I'm sure i'm not the first guy to email them, hoping for an alternative, for those of us with soft doors..
They make a top for TJ LJ and YJ's
