arrowhead I bought one of the weighted bag type things so it would be easy to move the GPS between three vehicles. The bag slides down the slope of the dash as you drive over bumps even on just a little rough highway. A piece of velcro on the dash takes care of that and the thing stays where you put it, even on pretty rough roads. It grabs the velcro enough not to slip around but you still just pick it up to move it.

Mine didn't work on the dash. I use the windshield mount, and it does fine.

has anyone used a friction mount gps holder on the top of dash and if so do you find they stay put
