MoA i swapped my LP d30 out for a HP d30 when i swapped in a d44 for my d35.. the only problem is finding a HP30 with the same gear ratio..

if you can find one tho go with the hp30.. i got mine for $50, guy charged $100 to regear it to 3.73s and payed $100 for the gears.. but i also had the guy i bought it front regear it for me.. which saved me a ton of money instead of a shop doing it

Cons_Table Its not bolt up for sure. Im not sure the length difference (if any), but since a YJ is leaf sprung and a TJ is coil wont be a quick bolt in project.

jml7388 will a d30 out of a yj fit in the front end of a tj?

Cons_Table are you lookin for a whole swap for the front? if so you can look into another d30 out of another tj. there are also d44s out of a rubicon that should work, and hp d30s out of cherokees.
