I watched this happen about 4 years ago . I had to drag him out of the woods . Good thing is I found a new love a jeep after watching him go over things I could not do in my truck I started looking for a jeep

For your 4" of suspension lift, a 1" MML is not going to be enough by itself to replace the t-case drop. They have similar effects on the drivetrain angles but not in equal amounts. The two do compiment each other however.
The better and correct way to solve the drivetrain issues caused by such a tall lift is to get rid of the t-case drop and install a SYE kit and longer CV driveshaft. Not to mention the OE non-CV driveshaft becomes too short once you get to 4" of suspension lift height which means there are some offroad situations that could pull the front of the OE driveshaft right off the t-case output shaft's slip joint. Or, worse than coming off entirely, it could only partially pull off but instead cock and jam when it tries to slide back down which has been known to bend the t-case output shaft.

|willysmb||I have the JKS 1 1/4 body lift and 1" motor mount lift with a 4.5 RE superflex suspension.Keeblers right,the motor mount lift did not allow me to get rid of my transfer case drop.An advance adapters SYE,and Tom Wood cv driveshaft did.You really should consider the SYE/cv setup with 4" lift.You can get hooked up for way less than 700 bucks,if you shop around...|

very true keebler. makes sense; ill look more into it.
and bob, i just got my wrangler a couple months ago and have already put 2600 into it in addition to the loan, so i dont want to spend 400 on a cv drive shaft and another 300 on a sye. but i do plan on doing it myself to save some cash later down the road. let me know if you find a solution to this issue.

In theory the MML should allow you to remove the T-case drop as it accomplishes the same thing the T-case drop does. Instead of changing the drive line angle by bringing the back down, it does the same thing by bringing the front up.
However, there's no magic see-saw pivot point right smack between the engine mounts and the T-case. You're still tied in at the skid plate, as well as the engine mounts. So raising the motor 1" inch (far away from the issue) doesn't give as much net change as lowering the drive line at the transmission (the source of the issue). The transmission can only rotate down so far when you move the engine up.
You may still need some spacers on the skid plate depending on your lift. The only way to be certain is to try it.
EDIT: Now if you could put a MML in and make the transmission mount not sit as tall above the skid plate.....sure. But that's not recommended/possible.

different ways to adjust driveline angles
so i was looking into a 1.25" body lift from JKS. and they recommended a MML as well to change the driveline angles. i currently am running a 4" skyjacker lift with 33x12.5's. i have the tcase drop kit installed, and was wondering if adding a body lift and MML would allow me to take the tcase drop kit off. id appreciate any advice! thanks
