Bob G Thanks. I do have an automatic - didn't think I would like it, but it has been pretty good. I just got some more info from a JP magazine article on different programmers. More available than I thought...the computer-controlled engine performance stuff is new for me...sometimes I miss my old Jeep...I'll do my research!

JIMBOX You'll have to look at google for each programmer and get all the info you can-keep an open mind-

I use the AEV Procal Module ($150 bucks) and it does all it advertises-

I'm very happy withit, mainly being able to change the shift pattern of my auto tranny-when I want to-

If you have a stick, it may be OK too

There ain't no more free lunchs !

Robbish87 If you have an auto the super chips will change shift points giving you more power, or at lest make it feel like that, and turn off toms and change speedo. But for a 6 speed I say get the aev module because I have a 6 speed and the flashpaq did nothing for performance or mpg but does adjust speedo and other thing just at double the price of aev

new tires & wheels = new TPMS alarm/light on dash

I sold my 1995 YJ and bought a 2010 JK. I finally got the 2.5-inch lift I wanted and made the switch from what I considered "road tires" to 33-inch BFG KM2s. I knew about the TPMS, but I didn't want that on the new wheels (I don't need a sensor to tell me if I have a low tire). I have heard a few programmers can turn-off the TPMS alarm light, but I don't know the best one to use. Seems like the Superchips Flash Paq and the AEV Pro Cal module are similar and may be able to turn off the dash light and make the chime go away - if there are any added benefits to having one over the other that would be great to know...any advice...please.
