I hope you did not take offense by my statement, "Again, from a former LEO, please do not use them to flash or get back at another driver that is doing the same, it just creates a more dangerous situation." , it was not aimed at you personally. I remember another thread that had a person bragging about blinding other drivers. I don't recall if it was on this forum or another, but only that I was stunned by the stupidity. Again, I was not insinuating that you would act in that manner, so I hope I didn't offend.

I highly recommend this mod as it helps to see to the side of the road. I would have already taken out a 4 point this year if I had not done it.
This link should get you all the info you need.

|Tackelbarry||I am retired from L.E. and have responded to and have seen first hand the carnage that can happen due to low light situations. I did this modification to my Jeep and use it regularly on the local country roads. Jerry is right, if it is foggy use the fog lights on low beam, if it is not foggy, depending on the situation, use them on high beam. Again, from a former LEO, please do not use them to flash or get back at another driver that is doing the same, it just creates a more dangerous situation.|

|Black98||Its a very simple procedure that require a simple pin to be bent in the engine fusebox. Depending on the state, im pretty sure it is not illegal. The fogs are great in combo with the highbeams for seening stuff in the sides of the road especcially deer before they decide to jump in front of you.|

|Bruck||That is true too. Are there instructions out there in case I decide to do it?|

You can still use your low beams and fog lights (is that recommended for fog? We never have fog here) I thinks its a great mod to pump out some more light. the second night I did it I saw a kid BEFORE he jumped into the street in front of my jeep. Great for watching out for deer/elk I hear too. Search fog light mod
Just realize it isillegal so don't use it to flash / blind other drivers

|Jerry Bransford||So you won't be using your fog lights for foggy conditions? High beams and fog are a bad combination.|

Fog Lights and Highbeams
A while ago I read a thread on the mod where you can get your fog lights to come on when your highbeams are on. I'm thinking of doing it this weekend and of course I can't find the thread. Little help??
